Fifa 17 won't start. Update error: 0x8b050069

Having same problem. Don't seem to be getting any help either! There are few having same problem I've seen.

try deleting all game data, if that does not work delete the game and install/download again

You'll want to post in the
Xbox One Insider Program Forums for the best information and assistance. Since the update is still in the early stages, things may not work correctly at times as it is a Beta. So they'll have the best insight and be able to troubleshoot any potential issues.
If you want to opt out of the Insider Program, you can do so from the Insider App on the console. Keep in mind thought that doing so, will cause your console to factory reset and any games and apps will need to be reinstalled to the console.

That said, did reinstalling a fresh copy of the game help at all? I know you tried to transfer the game to the other hard drive, but I'm wondering if maybe the installation is the issue and not the hard drive. Are other games working without issue?

I am having the same issue - however sometimes it lets me get into the game the tells me "Thank you for trying FIFA 17. The current active profile requires an active EA Access subscription and FIFA 17 Trial entitlement. Please purchase EA Access and start
your FIFA 17 Trial."

This is ridiculous

I found this on the forums in another post:

1. boot the xbox one with internet connected

2. remove the bluray app ( if already installed)

3. install the bluray app

4. insert fifa 17 disc

5. xbox one says there are updates available for nba2k15. accept these updates

6. install fifa 17, it will error on 5%.

7. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, on your home screen press start on fifa 17 where it should say installation stopped, then click on manage game, you should be taken to a screen where it's just fifa 17, uninstall on this screen and on the same screen you
can then click install and youre all set.

****NOTE**** This will take significantly longer than installing straight off the disk, what this will do is actually download the game to your xbox, so it could take a couple of hours or longer depending on your connection.
