FIFA 17 on xbox 360 can't get started - region code issue

Hi,

I bought FIFA 17 for XBOX 360 from the online store. After downloading it (through the FIFA 17 DEMO game), when I open it i got the following error message: "This disc region code is incorrect for this console". I have a european console. BTW, I can run
the FIFA 17 demo game, but not the full game. I tried to play with the console locale settings and to download the game again, but it didn't work as well.

So I pre-ordered FIFA 17, got the code, redeemed it ON the XBOX One.

Problem is, no game started to download, no FIFA 17 is in my "ready to install" list either, and I can't even see it here online.

What do I do ?

There seems to be multiple issues with FIFA today.

Please ensure the console location matches your xbox.com country location.

At xbox.com the country is on the bottom left of the page.

 

If you log on and the country is wrong. Click on it and select the correct one. Often if this comes up wrong it affects your ability to play a game even though the game and console is correct location.

Once you set the country on your computer try the game again.

didn't help - i still get the same error
