Fifa 17 activation issues

Hello all,

my brother recently bought new Xbox One with 500gb and Fifa17 in one box. It came with activation code, that should be activated and used with this console, to unlock the game. The problem is, the youngest brother thought he was smarter than us, and activated/downloaded
Fifa17 two hours before its activation (midnight 28/29th). Now, we're unable to play Fifa17 in its full option, it's possible only to play test version. If I try to activate code that came along with console, Xbox says it's been already activated.

Is there any option to somehow salvage this code, or is it lost forever?

Is there a time limit on the activation code to download the game? I read on the Internet that it is necessary to activate the code for the game before June 30, 2017.

If the Code was redeemed to the Account you should be able to Access it. Please make sure your logged into the Console with the Account that redeemed the Code. If you havent already installed Fifa 17 look into "My Games & Apps" in the "Ready to Install"
section. It should be there.

If your unsure which account has redeemd the Code login with it on this page in the upper right Corner, click on your Name, select "Profile" from Dropdown menu and there click on "My Games". It should be listed there. Make sure your logged into the Console
with the Account that has the game listed.

Ensure your brother who downloaded the game marked your console as his Home XBOX. This way anyone playing on that console can play the game in full. If not it is exclusive to him and the reason you can only play the demo.

Go to Settings > System and make it your Home console. More than 1 person can make the console their home.

Set it all up so you are in the one family group also helps.
