    FIFA 16 - Crashing on startup


    I've been playing Fifa 16 since the day it came out with no issues. Today, when I open it, it crashes straight away. I've rebooted my console, and reinstalled the game.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    Sorry you had the experience you describe but you shouldn't let it shake your loyalty to Xbox just because an EA game was crashing.

    I have gone fully digital and never had an issue but I wouldn't let one bad experience with a game taint my experience of the whole system I was playing on at the time.

    Game crashing on startup

    I have a similar problem, when I start Xbox games under win 8.1 on my PC it just crashes to normal window. I downloaded shuffle party and it played fine. The only way I have found to resolve this is to keep rebooting my PC until it works. Clean build
    of Win 8.1, AMD CPU @ 4.0GHz, 16GB 1600 RAM, 1GB DDR5 R5 270 graphics card, Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard Rev 5, all 4 HDD SataIII AHCI. Can you please help resolve this

    Try going into Settings, Power, Restart Xbox.

    If that doesn't help, go to Settings, Power, Turn Xbox off, then unplug the power cord from the back of the console for about 2 minutes before trying again.

    I've also tried that, and it doesn't work. :/ just crashes instantly on start up. also, this was downloaded via the xbox store, not a disk version, so won't be a disk issue.

    I would next uninstall the game and redownload it

    FIFA 16 - Crashing on startup

    Are you using the account that was used to purchase the game? If so, and it still isn't working, try removing your profle (Add or Remove a Microsoft Account on Xbox One). After that, do a full reboot and unplug the power cord for
    2 minutes. Turn it back on, redownload your profile, and try it again.

    If that still doesn't work, uninstall the game and follow the same steps.

    If that also fails, I would try a factory reset of your console (Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults). If you do the factory reset, you will have to reinstall all games and apps. I would move all games but FIFA to an
    external hard drive first, to save you time later, if possible.
