FIFA 15 Update/Install Issues

I tried to update FIFA 15 today and it froze at 100%, after trying a hard reset a few times I decided to uninstall the game and reinstall it. It also got stuck, at 98%, so I've tried to cancel and retry a few times only to have it stop at the same point.

Also, I cannot install ANY of the content that i used to have:

FIFA 15 and 16, AC4, BF4, etc etc...it just says installation has stopped.

It also cannot download updates for physical game copess like TitanFall, so I am completely lost.

Thanks for the reply - from my original post - you can see i have already tried installing offline.

Its not a space issue - i now have over 125gb of free space on the drive and other games will happily uninstall and re-install from both digital and disk based copies.

 

I have the same problem.... nothing seems to work

I'm sorry to hear about the downloading issue. I would first suggest to try out these steps:

• Power cycle your Xbox One console.
  
• Once the console is off completely, unplug all cords from your console.
• Leave everything unplugged for a few minutes.
• Plug your console and cords back in and turn it on.
• Check your Network Connection. (Settings > Network > Test Network Connection)
  
• Sign back into to Xbox Live and try the downloading the update again.

If those steps don't resolve the issue, please post back to let us know so we can get this sorted!

 

Sorry for the late reply, but I eventually got my update to work be repeatedly power cycling my Xbox One and then completely erasing the game and redownloading it. But now that a new update came out for Fifa 15, I have the same issue with my update being
stuck on 100% again.

 

Good to hear the original issue is resolved, but I'm sorry a new issue came up! I would at this point try

Uninstalling and Reinstalling Fifa 15. Before you reinstall, go ahead and do a power cycle for good measure so your system cache is cleared! Post back and let us know if that helps!

 

I have tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling with power cycles multiple times now to no avail, it always stops at 100% on the update.

 

Interesting, could you highlight FIFA 15 on your Xbox One dashboard and press the Menu button on your controller? Does it say anything like 'Resume installation'? I would try pausing the update and resuming if it doesn't say already.

 

Yes I have tried pausing and resuming. I've tried nearly every possible combination of pausing/resuming/unistalling/reinstalling/power cycling I could think of.

 

Alright, in this scenario I will recommend trying a factory reset. That would be the best option as it will reinstall updates. Resetting will remove everything off the Xbox One console, but your cloud saves will come back down once you reset. To do a factory
reset, do the following:

• Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select Settings.
• In the Settings menu, select System.
• In the System menu, select 'Restore to factory defaults' in the Storage

Follow those steps and reinstall FIFA 15 and let us know how it goes!
