FIFA 15 refuses to install

Hi Guys - looking for some advice. Just bought FIFA15 (disk) for my sons birthday. Tried to install it and it says installing, quickly followed by installation stopped.

If you check My Apps and Games, it never appears at all in the Queued list.

In notifications it lists fifa15 with the only option available being 'Free up space'.

I have over 70gb of free space - so that cant be the issue.

Tried the usual tricks of going offline and hard rebooting - but no luck.

Even took the disk back and had it exchanged for a new copy.

All suggestions welcome.

Quick update - will successfully install other games - both digital copies and disk based copies - just seems to be the fifa it doesnt like - but seems odd that i have now tried 2 different copies of the game, both with same result.

Good to hear the original issue is resolved, but I'm sorry a new issue came up! I would at this point try

Uninstalling and Reinstalling Fifa 15. Before you reinstall, go ahead and do a power cycle for good measure so your system cache is cleared! Post back and let us know if that helps!

Sorry for the late reply, but I eventually got my update to work be repeatedly power cycling my Xbox One and then completely erasing the game and redownloading it. But now that a new update came out for Fifa 15, I have the same issue with my update being
stuck on 100% again.

 

Sorry to hear it. Try disconnecting the console from the internet for the duration of the install. Also, in case you weren't aware you can now use external storage for your games. You can use up to two USB 3.0 external hard drives ranging in size from
256GB to 16TB at the same time.

 

Thanks for the reply - from my original post - you can see i have already tried installing offline.

Its not a space issue - i now have over 125gb of free space on the drive and other games will happily uninstall and re-install from both digital and disk based copies.
