Fifa 15 crashing at title screen, HELP

I've spoke to EA on the phone. This crashing issue is occurring only when I'm signed into a specific xbox user profile (my own) but the game loads fine when no profile is signed in or signed in as a different profile.

I assumed this was a problem with the save data stored on the EA servers, as the crash occurred only when the game showed "retrieving data from server" after pressing A on title screen. Speaking to a technician at EA couldn't solve this. The problem however
still persists when I disconnect my xbox from the internet leading me to believe that my gamertag profile itself is somehow conflicting with the game, because when it's offline it surely can't retrieve this data from the servers.

I have tried resetting my xbox one to factory settings, wiped the local cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, changed network settings, alternate Mac address, everything. Game still crashes after pressing A on title screen.

The only other option I can think of is to create a new xbox account and switch the live subscription across, however this will involve wiping all achievements and progress on any game I've played.

Can anyone shed any light on why this may be happening? Please?

FIFA 19 Won't Start (XBOX)

FIFA 19 Will not start on my XBOX. When I launch it shows the new Title screen for about 10-15 seconds, then shows a black screen for 10-15 seconds, then drops back to the main home screen. Please Help!

 

FIFA 15 crashing after language selection

fifa 15 crashing after language selection on Xbox one , this was bought on the xbox store, help????

 

Issue is that the game starts up fine, gets to title screen showing "press A". After pressing A it connects to EA servers, however while displaying "retrieving data from server" the download icon at the bottom of the screen freezes, the game itself freezes
and about 3 or 4 seconds later crashes and returns to xbox dashboard.

This is only occurring when signed in as my gamertag "". When not signed into a profile it loads, and when signed in as my daughters profile it loads. The issue is also occurring when I disconnect my xbox from the internet, which is confusing
me somewhat.

I am getting no real help as EA don't seem to know what the problem is and xbox live chat support blamed EA. Please if somebody had any ideas, help!

 

i have the exact same problem as you RockyRasper, but the game worked fine yesterday

 

Yeah same thing is happening to me and no help from anyone ea or Xbox not happy

 

Same problem. Sent xbox in for a repair and its now back and have the same problem.

Same issue with NHL 15 and Madden 15

 

Guys, I phoned xbox support and got this sorted.

go to My games and apps, then select FIFA (Or other)

On the right there should be a small box with your avatar on it, select it and press A, this should bring up a menu, select "delete all data for this game" or something similar (note this will delete any locally stored saves but NOT online progress)

Delete the data

Turn off your xbox by pressing down and holding the power button on the console for 20 seconds (even after it's powered down)

Restart and try the game

Hope this helps, I lost my career save, but online seasons data etc still there

 

Are you using an Xbox one because I can't find this small box with my avatar in

 

Is there a reason why this box isn't there ? I saw this solution on an old thread when searching for a fix but the only option I saw was to just uninstall the game.

 

Sorry guys, my mistake. When you go into my games and app, press the menu button while fifa 15 is selected, then manage game. Then you should see the avatar for your profile on the right, with "saved data" above it. Press menu while this is selected and
delete it all. Then power off by holding power button for 20 seconds.

Mine doesn't show anything about saved data. The only option once in manage game is uninstall game. Any ideas why this might be ?

 

No idea, sorry. Are you pressing the menu button (old start button) on the game first, then after selecting manage game pressing it again on your profile avatar? I'm not trying to be silly just making sure. I was only following instructions but this worked
for me and I'd tried EVERYTHING! Sorry if it's not sorting your problem

 

No thanks for trying . Just think it might be cloud related but if I can't delete things from the cloud then I won't get very far.

 

Hello I just bought an xbox one with fifa 15 in it, I downoaded it and wanted to play now, the screeen starts up for a second the xbox get a little louder but then it just goes back to the menu screen, any help please?
