fifa 14 update

Every time I start Fifa 14 , it says I need an update (world cup i think) as it was working 2 days ago.

Each time there is a problem with the update and I try again, no luck

I have been through the Xboxone/update/help tips, but no joy. I think that is only system updates, not game updates anyway.

Before I spend hours trying to get through to EA - anyone had a problem / solution ?

FIFA 14 WILL NOT UPDATE!! PLEASE HELP

I got fifa 14 on the xbox one..ive got the digital download and ive got the disk.... when I try and play either of them it says that fifa 14 needs an update.. and then says there was a problem with the update.. I've been on xbox.com/xboxone/update/help ans
did 3 different steps that I thought would of worked.. but it didnt... ive been on fifa 14 on the xbox one since the xbox one came out.. but recently fifa 14 needed an update wich was to fix all the bugs.. but its done nothing but not let me play fifa please
help

 

Im having this same problem then i finally got to fifa14 main screen and the brasil world cup mode was on there?? They said it was being delayed. Any news on fixing this?

 

I can't seem to get past the main screen and play the game at all , always directing to update. Are you able to play Fifa at all ?

 

Hi there TactfulCrowd002, you are not the only experiencing this problem right now. Xbox Live is investigating and working on the issue and should be giving an update on the problem shortly. Once they find a solution, I'll go ahead and let you know.

 

ok great, ha I wish it worked and I can play this world cup mode that isnt suppose to be out yet =)

 

and no I cant play at all and right before the update it wouldnt log into ultimate team telling me I didnt have an origins account.....I feel like theres always issue with this game. The amount of time and money I spend on my squad EA shouldnt have these
problems

 

That's interesting. I've been looking into it and it seems people are having various problems. Hopefully the update will fix these issues. There should be some word soon, they said half an hour around 3:52 CST. Of course, sadly if it's an issue with EA then
you may have to speak with them. If I see any solution to this problem though, I'll go ahead and let you know.

 

I hopefully fixed the origins account thing by clear my mac data in networking advanced settings but I cant test it out tell this update goes through.

 

Hopefully that does work. Have you tried updating the game in the last 10 minutes?

 

Okay then, there still hasn't been any word but I'll keep checking until there's an update on the issue. I better start making some coffee just in case!

 

Okay, somewhat good news. They made an update ten minutes ago and they said they're working toward a fix soon. Another thirty minutes to an hour until the their next update on the issue. Hopefully they fix it soon. I'd say try and update it in forty five
minutes. It might be fixed before they update the status of the issue.
