FIFA 14 Code multiple accounts same Xbox One

Hi,

We bought an Xbox One just after Christmas and it came with the FIFA 14 download and code. I set the console up and used the code. Now we've created the account for my son and when he tries to play FIFA 14, it says to purchase it. If he tries to use the
code it says that the code has already been used.

I don't understand what's happening here, surely the value of the game is greatly reduced if it's only for one person on the console to be able to play it? Is that the downside of all downloaded games on Xbox one, whoever downloads it is the one who can
play it (if so, why would family-owned consoles EVER buy a downloaded game)?

Installing FIFA 14 So No Need For Disc?

yep you can sell the disc as normal... (theres no linking disc games to accounts)

just open the fifa 14 card and say 'xbox use code' and show the kinect the QR code and it will register as you having a digital purchase, you should then be able to play fifa 14 that was installed to your hdd from the disck

I bought the Xbox in One Day One, I downloaded and installed FIFA 14 for day one, and Dead Rising 3 with download code, after a month when I start Fifa 14 makes me connect to my account but then returns to the initial screen of the console.

 

Is your console set as the home console? Go to the My Games and App tab click on settings, and then scroll to tje bottomto make sure the console is set as your home console. This will allow your son to play Fifa

additional to the answer above, make sure your son is a part of your family on your Microsoft account.

He can use the advantages of your Xbox Live Gold membership.
