    Hello

    I am having some trouble with the FH5 not running.

    I tried to add the game to Nvidia Control Panel and I could not find it. I was able to track where the file for the game was located which happened to be the WindowsApps folder. I tried to change permissions on it to access it, but in doing so my came stopped running at anything over ultra-low settings. Any way to fix this or maybe restore the user permission on the files?

    For the record, I already tried to reinstall Windows 10 but it did not affect it at all.

    Do not remove TrustedInstaller as an owner, it will break the DRM. You can add without subtracting

    Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

    Programs and apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store are installed in the following path by default: C:/Program Files/WindowsApps (Hidden items). To check hidden items, open This PC, click View and select Hidden items.

    To take over the folder;

    - Here is the path you should follow: C:program Files.

    - Go to View and check the box next to Hidden items.

    - Locate the Windows Apps folder and right-click on it.

    - Select Properties from the drop-down menu.Select Security. Then select Advanced.

    - Go to Owner. There click Change.Enter Microsoft account email address.

    - Check the box next to ‘Replace owner on subcontainers and objects’.

    - Apply your changes.

    - Locate and click your account in the list. Click Edit.

    - Check the box next to Full Control.

    I tried this out already, I was more specifically asking for a way to reset the permissions on the folder, not to access the folder. Thanks for the help anyways,

    Forza Horizon 5 not working and it's not visible by windows and microsoft store

    Amazingly problem solved it self on its own, i got download notification about FH5 hotfix. It surprised me since FH5 wasnt visible by windows or xbox or microsoft store, soo i guess its all fine. Right now im in FH5 menu and it all smooth working.
