FH5 on PC not working

Heyo, sadly enough all the fixes you posted were the ones I already found online. Iether way I did preform some of them again, but to no avail. The game still refuses to start up :/

EDIT: I now constantly get the code 0x1002, earlier I had a simelair code but more like 0X000004 or something

I totally understand your frustrations that you have already performed some troubleshooting steps yet the issue still persists. I would feel the same way if I were in your shoes as I'm a gamer myself.

I would highly recommend exhausting all the possible workarounds but skip the parts if you have done them already. Kindly try the following steps:

1. Administrator Account:

Log in to Windows 10/11 with a local Administrator Account and launch the game/store as an Administrator. This fixes the majority of cases reported.

2. Microsoft Store and UWP game reset:

Windows > Settings > Apps & Features> (Select app) > Advanced Options > Reset

Perform this reset for Microsoft Store and Forza games.

3. Clean Boot your device:

Sometimes other programs can affect game performance. Perform a Clean Boot using these instructions from Microsoft so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

4. Missing/Corrupted files:

The game may have encountered an issue with a recent update (Windows, Drivers, Content) and refuses to run with crashes or missing updates.

Ensure you have the MOST recent Windows 10 update

Make sure your Graphics Card is updated with the latest patch after the windows update.

Reset Store and Application - Windows>Settings>Applications>title>Advanced Options>Reset

5. Disabling Development Mode:

Press Windows + R.

Type Powershell and hit enter.

Copy and paste the following into the Powershell window and press enter.

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

6. Time/Date on your PC is Correct:

Right-click on the clock on your start menu.

Select Adjust Date/Time.

Untick then retic 'Set time zone automatically.

Reboot your PC.

7. Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ programs:

Press the Windows Key + R, appwiz.cpl and then press Enter.

Locate the Microsoft Visual C++ programs in the list.

Select each entry and then click Uninstall.

Download a fresh copy of Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime from here and then install it.

8. Reset the Microsoft Store:

You can use the steps below to refresh the Microsoft Store, which will clear the cache and refresh your library permissions. This fixes the majority of the cases.

Close the Windows Store app if you have it open.

Click Start and type 'WSRESET', without the quotes.

Right-click on the command and click 'Run as Administrator.' Click 'Yes' or 'Run' if the Windows permission box appears.

A black MS-Dos screen will appear for a few seconds. Please wait for it to disappear, and the Store will automatically open.

Attempt to Install the Forza title.

As for an alternative option, you may try to request a refund for the game Forza Horizon 5 since it is not working and if it is still eligible by signing your account and following the instructions on the Xbox refund web form:

Clubs are very hit and miss with FH5...they work fine for a lot of people but don't work properly for others. And Clubs are very problematic for players on PC
