    I just cant get the game to launch more than 1 time, i have reinstalled windows, reinstalled Forza, got everythin disabled as i know of, got all the Visual C things, directX, everything is updated, i can reinstall and reset microsoft store and the xbox app and then open the game once!

    I have a new MSI g66 with an i7 and rtx3070 and i cant even launch the game! i only bought gamepass to play this and its a pain to just get it working!

    We understand your sentiment in launching Forza Horizon 5 as it gives you an error message and code. This is not the experience that Microsoft wishes you to have. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

    We know you have perform necessary troubleshooting and install update to PC to fix the issue but it is not giving you the desired result. In that case, let us isolate your issue, by checking other game titles if issue persists. May we also know if you are part of Windows and Xbox Insider?

    BROKEN AGAIN: Forza Horizon 5: "Something went wrong launching your game"

    There is no way to force an update.

    Game broke again today.

    FH5 is a nightmare - last week has been an utter disaster.

    I had to repair/reset the game THREE TIMES today for the update to start.

    Otherwise "Something Went Wrong" failure to launch 0x80008000

    Hi Aimi, I'm Kim, an Independent Advisor and I’m happy to help you today.

    Kindly also try resetting the gaming services. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find the App named "Gaming Services" then select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset.

    After that press WIN+R (Windows logo key + R) , Enter "services.msc", find "Game Services", stop the service and then start it back again.

    You can also check if you can install your games using MS store app. Open the Microsoft Store, then click on the profile picture in the top right corner. A pop-up box will appear allowing you to sign out then once signed out, kindly sign in again using the account that have your games then try installing them from there.
