FH4 profile unable to load steam purchased game!

We understand that you wanted to load your game however it is giving you an error message. We found a support article that would help you with the error message however for the error code, you might need to submit this to the Forza Horizon team.

One of the commonly reported issues is this message: I have an invalid profile error message.

• Based on the support article, you will need to follow the troubleshooting starting from Step 1.
  
• Then, submit a ticket once you have completed the steps for your device and have played on the new save and unlocked online mode.

Were you able to play other games on steam aside from FH4?

In order for this to work, you must sign into Xbox One using the same Microsoft account on which you purchased the PC version of "Forza Horizon 4". When you sign in, the game will appear in the "Ready to Install" page of My Games & Apps, along with any
other Xbox Play Anywhere titles you may already own.

One other key component (that won't affect FH4) - the game must have been purchased through the Windows Store. Some games that are Xbox Play Anywhere on the Windows Store are starting to appear on Steam (like "Gears 5"). The Steam version will NOT permit access
to the Xbox One version. As FH4 is not currently available on Steam, this won't be a problem, so you would definitely have the Windows 10 version from the Windows Store.

It's difficult to say with FH4 and Steam. FH5 works fine because Steam was part of the initial programming and integrated into it from the start...with FH4, Steam was crowbarred into an already 2 year old game and they did an absolutely appalling job of it...to this day, online basically remains broken as it can take an hour or more to complete a set of 3 races. So, it really could be any of those things that solved it or it was just luck.

Anyway, glad you have resolved it and can play the game...despite it's issues, FH4 is still a good and fun game to play...in many ways it is better than FH5

What if i download fh4 on steam, will i still be banned?
