    So I got FF9 through my game pass. And when I went to play it I get a message saying it requires access to xbox live. Well I don't play online so I do not have it. Why does a single player game require that? I honestly find that to be ridiculous.

    From what I researched online, final fantasy 9 is an xbox play anywhere title. It needs access to your cloud saves and achievements so you can play on xbox one and pc.

    Final Fantasy 8 and 9 were very under rated. FF9 didn't have very many summons but I liked the characters more.
