  1. few questions about MyVIP rewards and My Missions with Movies & TV content

    (1) I was looking at the FAQ for what counts toward MyVIP rewards, it made specific mention that game pre-orders didn't count toward MyVIP but made no explicit mention of movie pre-orders count or not count toward MyVIP. rewards. So I was
curious about this myself. Do movie pre-orders count toward MyVIP offers?

    (2) If "no" to the above questions, how would something like the John Wick Double Feature would count toward MyVIP rewards? Currently it is $24.99 for both movies, the first movie and the pre-order to Chapter 2 in one. Does something like
that count as an exception since it's a bundle?

    (3) Also, with regards to MyMissions, I was curious about some of the movies on the Rebel Rewards mission. I see in this month's missions that movies like John Wick count toward the Rebel Rewards mission, as does Mad Max: Fury Road. Question
about eligible content - Would purchasing John Wick Double Feature count toward the Rebel Rewards Mission? Or with regard to the eligibility to Mad Max: Fury Road, I see both Mad Max: Fury Road for $12.99 by itself, or both Mad Max: Fury Road / Mad Max: Fury
Road (Black & Chrome Edition, the higher contrast black/white version of the movie), they're both essentially the same movie bundled together for same price - would buying something like that count toward the fulfillment of the Rebel Rewards mission with regard
    to Movies & TV content?

    :)

I think there is a problem in my Xbox Live Rewards

    Hello MaggotMorales08,

    From our FAQ:

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Since many of your purchases over the last few months have been pre-orders or consumables, they were not eligible for MyVIP payback. Also, keep in mind that purchases cannot go towards both offers and MyVIP:

What type of Rewards can I earn?

In addition to our special events and offers, there are two easy ways to earn Rewards Credits each month; by completing missions or special offers, or with a MyVIP Star Rank.
To see current missions, visit the MyMissions page. For more details, please see the Terms and Conditions. Don't forget to check back often to see what's new, as missions are updated frequently!

To learn more about your MyVIP Star Rank, which gives you a percentage back on what you buy in the Xbox Store, visit the MyRewards page. Once you have earned at least 1 Star, you'll start earning each month
based on your qualifying purchases from the previous month.

Please note: Xbox Live Rewards members may not earn Rewards Credits for multiple offers based on performing the same action. For example, your purchases made to complete a monthly mission won't also be eligible for MyVIP.

Since your Darksider's purchase in May went towards the Rebel Rewards offer, it did not award MyVIP payback.

    Missing Rewards credits

    Hello Jed1Kn1ght420,

    From the FAQ:

What content can I earn a % back on purchases for?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify towards your MyVIP Star Rank and % back on purchases, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes,
movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, subscriptions like EA Access and Xbox Game Pass, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points
or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Since this purchase was a consumable, it would not be eligible for MyVIP payback. Also from the FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

So it would not have been possible for Credits to show up "within a few days", even if this purchase had been MyVIP eligible. Also:

What type of Rewards can I earn?

In addition to our special events and offers, there are two easy ways to earn Rewards Credits each month; by completing missions or special offers, or by getting a % back with a MyVIP Star Rank.

    ...

    your MyVIP Star Rank.

So it would not be possible to get Credits for both this purchase from MyVIP and an offer, if this purchase had been eligible for MyVIP.

We see that the Credits for your FREEdom Rewards completion are currently pending in your account.

few questions about MyVIP rewards and My Missions with Movies & TV content

    Hello xDamnYouSalazar,

Unfortunately, pre-orders of any kind do not count towards MyVIP. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are working with our promotions team to better clarify that section of the FAQ to specify this.

Fortunately, since that bundle includes a movie that is already released, that purchase is not currently flagged as a pre-order. We have reviewed this product and can confirm that it will increase your MyVIP progress due to the bundle having a already released
    product.

We can also confirm that this bundle is on the eligibility for Rebel Rewards, and will give progress for that offer. We have also reviewed the offer and can confirm that the Mad Max purchases you list (Mad Max: Fury Road, Mad Max: Fury Road: Black and Chrome
Edition, and the bundle for both of those titles) are all currently being tracked for that offer. In most cases, we will honor bundle/special edition purchases, but due to how much how long the list could become if we list every version and bundle,
we just list the base product. Apologies for any confusion.

    wheres the rewards??

    Hello LostFade,

    From the FAQ:

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

    Cards, still do not qualify.

Since many of your purchases the last few months were either consumables or pre-orders, they were not eligible for MyVIP. They also did not complete any offers. If you are asking about your MyVIP payback, from our FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit

We only recently calculated last month's MyVIP, so your Credits from eligible spending in August are pending there now.

I am not receiving/earning credits for my purchases anymore. Why?

    Hello HuntAD,

Since your purchases in May either did not qualify for MyVIP or were applied to another offer (Retro Rewards for Backwards compatible games and Games on Demand), they did not award MyVIP payback. This is mentioned in our FAQ:

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, subscriptions like EA Access and Xbox Game Pass, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

    and

What type of Rewards can I earn?

missions, visit the MyMissions page. For more details, please see the Terms and Conditions. Don't forget to check back often to see what's new, as missions are updated frequently!

Regarding your June purchases, we have not yet calculated MyVIP payback for that month.

We have not yet calculated last month's MyVIP, so it is too early to see the Credits pending.
