Few concerns with xbox one; specifically network connection

First concern: On start up the xbox about 50% of the time turns on and then gives me static for about 20-30 seconds before actually booting up. Not sure if this is a typical issue, but its a bit concerning.

Second concern: I cannot watch anything HD. In game cut scenes, youtube videos, twitch streams, even the introduction video that the xbox one plays when you first start the xbox. I just get a straight green screen. Sometimes video cuts in but its still mostly
green screened and is super corrupt looking. Been happening since I got the xbox and have gone through trouble shooting steps with someone over the phone a while back to nothing. (Including: changing HDMI cord, trying a different TV, clearing memory cache's,
checking xbox for updates, uninstalling and reinstalling apps to see if it fixed on those apps, and resetting xbox to factory defaults). Nothing worked.

Last Concern ( the one I wish to really get fixed): My xbox one doesn't like staying connected to game servers. So basically I boot up the xbox I start playing X game 30 mins to an hour and a half I get disconnected from game server with an error message
saying I can't connect. I try reconnecting same thing. The only way I have found to solve this issue is to either hard reset or connect to a different game server. So say I am playing X game and it happens I plug up Y game connect to that server and I can
then go back to X and play it. I am the only person in the house with this issue too. (Games it occurs on is every game I own; Destiny, Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain, Diablo 3, Rainbow 6 Siege, Star Wars battlefront, and now the division Beta). I stay connected
to xbox live and when I test multiplayer connection I have no issue. The xbox gives the "Everything is working just fine" screen. I run all the tests after that to see if there is any issue and I still get that I am just fine. To fix this issue I have: changed
Ethernet cord, changed the router port, changed from router to modem, changed modem port, reset router, reset modem, reset to factory default, clear the Alternate MAC address thing, the only thing I haven't done basically is changed ISPs since it started.
And like I said. Its only my xbox. I have 3 other family members who have no issues connecting and staying connected on a different system.

For the last concern, have you tried to open the ports needed by an Xbox One console? If not, then please do contact your Internet Provider then have them open these ports for your own console:

•Port 88 (UDP)

•Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

•Port 80 (TCP)

•Port 500 (UDP)

•Port 3544 (UDP)

•Port 4500 (UDP)

I have also researched some additional info and found out that some routers/modems are limited to support Xbox consoles. I'm not that techy but check this with our Xbox Connectivity Specialists: 800-469-9269.

 

First concern, is your power supply directly connected to the wall outlet? If it's an extension or surge protector, Xbox do not recommend it this way. Power supplies already have their built-in surge protector therefore it would be better to connect them
directly to a wall outlet.
