Feels like I'm playing on a 5yo PC

Title says it all really. Game runs absolutely awful. Long load times, texture blur/pop in, sound glitches, empty city's or npc's that pop in and are unresponsive.

cdproject really didn't port this well at all, should have toned the game WAY down for the xbone coz it just can't handle it.

Witcher 3 1.03 issues

Yeah same my 1.01 was fine now 1.03 it's awful. Longer load times (which where pretty bad to start with)

Once the game 'loads' I then have to wait another 15-20 sec for the npc's and textures to load.

City's empty of ppl, npc and texture pop in, npc's not interactive. Sound glitches. 'Loading' in the bottom right corner for everything.

It's like I'm playing on a 5yo PC

 

Anyone feel like playing?

I got this game awhile ago and never really played it. But since then I started playing it again. I'd like to have a co-op partner, so anyone up for it? If so, send a FR.

works perfectly fine on mine. new patch 1.04 should sort most problems out.

 

Theres issues with every game at launch, but factoring in the sheer content and what they accomplished we can't complain too much. Best game ive played in last 5 year imo

 

Yeah, agree w/ Waffle. All things considered, I concur w/ what he said. One addendum however, I am playing this particular game on the PS4. Two of my friends though are on the XBONE and they seem satisfied for the most part.

 

Seams like it's just me. My 'day one' Xbone must be on its way out. Coz seriously it's awful.

 

I've played the game in excess of 10 hours now and I've found zero glitches on v1.03. Occasional frame rate drops but I'm talking very rare - overall the game runs a lot smoother than I ever expected. Load times surprisingly short, seen a bit of texture
pop in but only during in-game cut-scenes. Sound design is fantastic.

ScottyDoo, I'm afraid it does sound like your One is about to explode.

 

I've noticed a dip in framerate here and there, but rare. For the most part it runs great for me.

Only issue I've had is the quest called "Of Swords and Dumplings" made it so I couldn't save or meditate. Had to reload an earlier save.

 

Frame rate is a bit poor for both X1 and Ps4 from what I've read, but even so I still think it's quite playable. As someone said, it's a new game so updates will fix some of the issues. I'm just sad they fixed the shell/pearl exploit. : ((
