    Feel ripped off and am quitting xbox for ps4


    Xbox are auto renewing my account and keep switching this off. Thy messed up my move from UK to US and this eve i spent an hour chatting to an xbox rep who lied to me and kept me hanging and in the end went back on their word to refund me. I can never
    get hold of a human and am so angry that after 7 years, to be treated so badly. Goodbye Xbox...shameful service

    i dont know if this is the same but i brought a new x1 and with it i got a game code. for sunset overdrive when i went to use the code it had a sealed sticker on it an to my surprise guess what happened when i peeled it off. it ripped my game code

  5. In order to turn off the auto renew for your account via the website you can visit this article:

    support.xbox.com/.../cancel-xbox-live-gold-subscription

    In terms of you having a bad customer service experience when the rep was helping you did you provide them with adequate information on the issue that you were having? Has it been giving you an error code when trying to turn off the auto renew on your account
    or remove the credit card? Was your renewal for a monthly subscription? If it was then Xbox does not do refunds for one month subscriptions unless you meet strict exceptions to the rule. I would suggest calling Xbox Support back at 1-800-469-9269 for US, Canada
    and Puerto Rico and thoroughly explain the exact issue you are having.

    You can not be helped if the situation is not understood by the person trying to help you. And just a few other notes on the issue you have, you said that you chatted with an Xbox rep for an hour and yet you say you can never get a human, I am thoroughly
    confused on that whole statement.

    And if you do decide to go and purchase a PS4 there is nothing wrong with that at all, happy gaming to you, but you do realize that Sony now also charges for their online service the same as Microsoft right?

    The only way to not have that is to forgo the convenience just like in real life of having auto billing with the savings and cheap plans and go full price prepaid cards

    Prehaps you could take your xbox360s 250gb Kinect to a reputable xbox repair person/company within your region who is qualified in such repairs.This may reduce your costs and time waiting . Let your fingers do the walking and call around , I certainly would
    do this before ripping into my xbox with a D-I-Y kit , although it may be your very last option available to you , before eventually realising that the expense may have been better spent towards a brand new xbox console of your choice or something completly
    different , up to you . I understand you may be angry and frustrated with microsoft , but it wont help you get back into the game any faster and this is what we need to work on .. Have you tried absolutely everything ? If your xbox turns on and you get no
    audio/video , you could try a higher quality HDMI cable and make sure your tv settings are correctly configured , or even trying the original composite cable(red/yellow/white) adjust settings accordingly , maybe trying a different TV .. even unplugging everything
    etc , taking hard drive out , the list goes on as you probably already know .. I dont doubt you have scoured the Internet looking for a fix , hit all the xbox,com/support pages and done all you can , all avenues approached and your problem persists after all
    possible fixes fail , it may be the xbox graveyard for your console . And the choice ultimately lays in your hands.If you could give a better discription of your operating system( I assumed a xb250gb with kinect) It may help us better to understand your problem
    .. , and maybe the things you have attempted(optional) . I hope this reply can at least ease your pain a little and maybe give you another option to consider before giving up on it in a fit of gamers rage , I wouldnt be here if I hadnt experienced problems
    myself , Its why I became an ambassador because of countless hours searching the Internet for an xbox quick fix , support pages and forums etc Its what lead me to try helping my fellow gamers in their darkest hours (usually in a dark gamers room somewhere)
    so keep trying , dont give up just yet , you still have 2 lives left ..

    yes the newer turtle beaches and polks came with the adapter HOWEVER i agree this is a shiesty move by MS...im still trying to grasp why they didnt just put the 3.5mm plug into the controller? Current audio cut outs from the adapter just shows that it wasnt
    needed and is just another gimmick to over charge for another proprietary device.
