Feel mis-sold on backward compatability

Hi I purchased an xbox one on the basis the website said that "backward compatability is here". Well as you know it is not unless you are on preview program. Support suggested I come here and ask for an invite. My kids want to play some of the games so
I would really appreciate it. Many thanks

So backwards compatability is a big issue when from what we know the PS4 "backwards compatability" is just the ability to buy the games in a digital format that will work on the new console, hmm.

Backwards comp is in theory here but it only has around 20 games, you might as wait a few months till it comed out, the problems that the preview program can cause out weigh getting it for only one update. If you want to give honest feedback even for the
small updates and dont mind out the problems that may happen then by all means jump on the band wagon but for only one update it is slightly pointless when it is being released soon anyway. Here is a list of games avalible on bacwards comp right now:

just to add to WHOz comments above, it says on the website that the feature will be broadly available later on in the year. There is very little information on which games - other than those listed - will be available on the service so please don't plan
to play a particular game.

We cant give out invites on the support forums but you are welcome to post in the invite thread in the general discussion forum.

Oh ok, I did have the disc but sold my 360 when i got the One which obviously the game was sold with it, i didnt realise you had to purchase a ''digital version'' to be able to play the backwards compatible version.

Slightly unfair i feel.

None of the backwards compatible games would be sold in Xbox One cases. They would be in 360 cases.

It would suck if they announced backwards compatibility as others as well as myself have sold xbox 360 games because it isn't BC.
