I have spent literally 2+ hours trying to simply provide feedback and talk to Microsoft/343 Industries about Halo 5. It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my entire life (I am not even exaggerating) how difficult it is. Everyone associated
with Microsoft should be absolutely ashamed at how big of cowards you are that you can't even listen to a loyal follower. I am disgusted. Trying to chat with Microsoft via their middle-school level chat client and it tells me I need to impute a first and last
name, but the boxes are grayed out and doesn't allow me to make any changes, among several other difficulties. Embarrassing. I am willing to bet no one will answer me here either, or will just provide me with a phone number or some other equally pitiful response.

Xbox Feedback requirements...

I'll go ahead and make this point, as much of this pertains to Cortana (among other features), which we all know is coming to Xbox One, and when it hits the Xbox, the first thing many are going to do is whine ‘Cortana should do more than this!’…


I’m offering everyone the opportunity and chance now to actually ‘CAUSE’ Cortana to do so much more! To CAUSE the Xbox to do so much more, and then lean further toward doing even more than that!

And that can be done simply by expressing the desire for it (Cortana) to be more than just a simple; perhaps even boring virtual assistant, which many even now will exclaim “I don’t plan to use it, don’t do anything with it now… Doesn’t do enough, too boring!" This is to help you (person out there who already thinks you won’t be thrilled by Cortana on the Xbox)

Whoever has already ventured/waded through the Avatar Store will wonder why there isn’t 'at least' a way to save things you might later be swayed to purchase to a list of some sort, so you don’t have to ‘do this craziness again’… here you are… Add Wish List Option to the Avatar Store Man that's a lot of stuff in there! I absolutely hate even the thought of having to look through all of that again, just to find the few things that caught my attention before!




People serious about planning “Events” with others will get how handy this is… Watching movies together with friends, family (loved ones), within app parties, or Banding the Clan/Crew/Team together for a showdown/tournament.

Or someone wanting the Xbox to power ‘On’ when you get home (in your car; in front of your home), or ‘Off’ when you’ve left your home, but aren’t near the box… these people could use the ‘user opted’ abilities these Xbox GPS Location Awareness & Tracking using Cortana and/or SmartGlass enabled Smart Devices, Feature Request: Cortana Xbox One Remote Power Control provide.

Anyone who streams TV to SmartGlass or the Xbox app knows they’d like this to happen TV Display Mode for TV streamed to SmartGlass, because not many like a freaking 3:4 picture displaying on a 16:9 screen!


4,313 People wanted, and voted for 3D BluRay Support; 564 voted for 3D Support for Blu-Ray/Digital Media (HSBS, or otherwise), and Games, and 252 voted for 3d passthrough for the Xbox One! I’m thinking more than a few of those would like to have System wide 3D support. and perhaps UI Stereoscopy when 3D is Active, especially those trying to use 3D capabilities of their service providers, but can't get it to work because the Xbox won't accept 3D HDMI input. As well as for those who don't want the Xbox UI to look retarded after activated 3D HSBS or OU modes.


Worth only becomes worth when we truly see the vision which shows us a thing's worth … many of us walk right pass things of great worth all the time, simply because we don’t have a clue what it is we are looking at; overlooking…

I’m attempting to spark vision in you; in all of us! To show you at least a glimpse of the worth behind even these ideas... and to have others join in this push, or 'Quest' if you will...

Because I know that visionaries are the ones that get things done, and while there are unfortunately many others who are happy with commonality and with boring everyday mundane things…

I am not that guy! I like things that prove to be special; things that are groundbreaking; things that fascinate, and set themselves apart from the 'usual'!

I came here with this thread because I believe that I can't possibly be the lone visionary here (and yes I do consider myself blessed to be a visionary); that more than a few here know how to see deeper than what you my friend have just demonstrated!

As I said before, I can't make anyone vote on these ideas, but I can show vision and reason... All of these are ideas which set groundwork for an experience we've NEVER had in a Gaming Entertainment device, or in any other single device in existence for that matter!

Perhaps there are simply many who aren't ready to stop being bored and spending all their time watching boring things and porn on their system because they're bored. But I just can't!

In fact, the very reason I bought the Xbox One in the first place was because it actually proved to be 'doing' much more than the typical system; I was excited and ready to see it do even more.

I'm telling you all right now (as I have seen the light), this is THE most important thing in my book! That is to have a powerful gaming machine that can do everything else I want it to do to both entertain me and to have it intertwined into my very lifestyle...

Microsoft was on to something when they started all this and I want them to step up and do it all the way, NO HALF STEPPIN!

These are ideas that I know lead to intriguing possibilities and capabilities... like I said, ones I feel passionate about, and as you can see, am ready to stand up for! Does that mean I expect every individual to vote on every single idea? No, as I know some are simply not ready, or are not capable of sharing that vision... Some things are gold to some and nothing more than dust to others; I can live with that reality.

But, I do expect a vote where you've seen the vision and I ask and hope you'll at least share this with someone else you know as there could very likely be a request that absolutely hits home for some of them, yet still needs that help getting off the ground!

I also expect to see other ideas linked/shared here as well, from other's just as passionate about the things they know deep down are strong and great foundation setters for making a system/platform something to seriously be reckoned with! Yet again, newer 'great' ideas that need enough people to just see them, so they can have the opportunity to join in toward making them happen!

I also expect anyone coming here to present better comments (not just toward me, but to everyone and their ideas); with more constructive respectful responses... someone should've informed you by now, if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything...

Vote for what you will, IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, FINE, but DO NOT COME HERE DOGGING ANY IDEAS POSTED BY ANYONE...and share this list with others you know; in other forums where you creep or wherever else you may decide to... Those are the rules of the thread, and I will get them enforced as I feel this is an effort to better our entire experience together, as it should be!

 

Xbox Feedback requirements...

I can respect that man, but unfortunately, this isn’t the thread to discuss that in, as Cortana is already coming; due to the majority vote, and Microsoft actually wanted it that way to begin with.

However... since Microsoft is actually fashioning their platform based on: majority views/votes; that previously established business plan which has no doubt undergone multiple rewrites, and the attempt to align public sentiment with plans already in motion, the best thing you or I can do is fit in where we belong in the grand scheme of things.

Cortana is coming; no sense in complaining about that! That ship has already sailed and the majority actually did ask for it, so now it’s up to us to fashion it into something we don’t mind being in our lives… For me, this means making it faster, smarter; better than a virtual assistant; making it A.I.!

It's a new pressure to make sure a thing is actually wanted, by forcing it to cut it within 90 days, kinda like Microsoft pushing all of us into becoming spokespersons for the change we're talking about, and proving our ideas to enough people to get it through this cutting block they've now created...

Not something I can honestly say I like being made to do, but that's not to say I don't get it...
