Hi All,

My console was delivered from DHL a couple of days ago and my partner put it aside in a room hidden from my son as she works from home.

The plan was to keep the Xbox hidden until April for my son’s Birthday. I bought it as soon as it became available as I was unable to secure one prior to Xmas and refused to pay the scalpers the rediculously inflated prices.

I checked the delivery box this morning and observed that the outer packaging was damaged and some of the packaging tape had split. I opened the outer packaging to check on the console packaging and noticed there was a single piece of cardboard about 30cm
long and 10cm wide, but no foam or bubble wrap to protect the xbox external package. The console box has a crush damage on 2 corners.

I appreciate that accidents happen, especially with the delivery process, however I am concerned internal damage could also exist with the console. I will be putting it away until April for now.

In fareness to Microsoft customer service, I was pointed to this forum quickly and efficiently and they have recorded my observations.

Thanks for your time reading my observation. Possibly having better internal protection such as the clear plastic air filled packaging could have prevented this? Previous Xboxes Ive bought were packed much better than this one as Ive kept the original boxes
for the Forza edition and Scorpio consoles ...

An Xbox One and a Series X are two different consoles. The game has not been released for the Xbox One. You would need a Series S or X console in order to install it.

I have the same issue. Since Fortnite Season two release the Xbox Series X fan is loud. Not in other games. It seems to be a Fortnite issue. I hope this will not damage my console??

What do you mean? How’s it going? I just bought two versions of this game and they seem to not be correct.

Does X box series X games work on a series S console or no?

And if not is there a way to allow me to still play these two games?

Well are you on xbox one or series s/x then just use it

Bing isn't as good as Google

Keep in mind edge on console isn't a desktop browser it's sandboxed and has limits on what it can do

You can't download edge on your console it comes built.in

We really appreciate everyone's response to streaming F1TV on Microsoft Edge for Xbox Series X|S. As previously asked, based on the answer we have here, there is an issue specifically on the F1TV website, on Microsoft Edge, and on the device: Xbox Series X|S.

Isolating the issue based on your responses:

Try other streaming sites if the issue persists on Microsoft Edge for Xbox console; we got a response that other streaming sites work fine.
Try the same page (F1TV) on a different device: We got two responses that this page works fine on a different device.
Use InPrivate Window: We received a response that still persists.
The problem exists only this year; we received a reply that confirms it.

We may need to consider any updates that occur before the issue starts. If there is no Microsoft Edge or Xbox Series X|S update that can cause the issue, then this issue should also be reported to F1TV Support.

As we pass this along to the correct team who will further investigate this issue, we would ask everyone to take these two steps.

First, take a screenshot of the page in Microsoft Edge that displays the error message with the website visible.

Second, install the Xbox Report a Problem app from Microsoft Store on Xbox Series X|S and send feedback to Team Xbox. Kindly attach the screenshots you have taken beforehand and submit feedback to the team.
