    FedEx and Microsoft issues.


    I placed a service request for my Xbox One and purchased the expedited shipping option. The instructions stated that i need to take the receipt and my console and FedEx would provide the box and packaging materials at no cost. However, FedEx said that
    this was not the case and I was made to pay for the box and packaging before they would ship my Xbox. Xbox support told me to call FedEx. FedEx told me to call Xbox. Doug with Xbox Customer Support said that this was an error on the site and I could not
    be reimbursed. I know it was only an additional $18 but it just irks the *** out of me.

    Xbox one repair time? Fedex expedited shipping?

    I was just wondering if anyone knew the repair time for the xbox one? I sent it from PA for disc read issues. Also If anyone else got the fedex expedited shipping where microsoft charges you 11 bucks and the description says if you take it to fedex you will
    get a free shipping label, packaging, and box. I took my order number to fedex and they said that Microsoft only paid for the shipping label so I had to spend another 16 dollars to have it packaged in bubble wrap and a box. Has anyone else gone through this?

    The Microsoft Console Repair Scam - the "Product shipped to customer" status that means nothing!

    In my last contact with support the lady told me that the reason that the FedEx site doesn't show the updated tracking info is because it's a reserve tracking number that FedEx gives Microsoft in advance. Microsoft then assigns each repair order a tracking
    number before it's entered into FedEx system. Once a number of repairs are deemed completed (a certain quantity) then Microsoft calls FedEx for pickup.Once FedEx receives the consoles they enter them into the system.

    My repair is complete and the package shows a tracking number but it hasn't been picked by fedex. Is there any way to get the package moving?

    This is the issue fedex doesn't have it. So they can't help I need Microsoft here.

    On Day 39 with no resolution. I filed a claim with FedEx per Microsoft's direction, after they refused to file a claim for me. A week later, I received a letter stating that my claim had been denied as Microsoft's contract with FedEx specifies that only
    the shipper may file a claim. After contacting Microsoft support, they still refuse to work with FedEx even after giving them the letter. Neither company is taking responsibility for the issue.

    I have spent $80 on packing, shipping, and gas in order to get this fixed. I have spent 9 hours and 4 minutes working with Microsoft and FedEx on this issue and my $560 COD:AW Xbox One with voided extended warranty is still not fixed.

    Yes, I had to pay $17 and Microsoft pretty much told me "sorry, contact fedex about it" then fedex told me contact microsft. It is ridiculous

    Until you receive the item, the responsibility lies between the sender and courier, as they are the ones that have the service contract. Until that item is in your hands, you have no responsibility for it not being delivered.

    Microsoft are liable up to the point you sign for it. This is why the sender must claim for a lost item, not the receiver, because only the sender has proof it was sent. I would get back in contact with Microsoft, and tell them to contact FedEx, because
    it sounds like they're trying to avoid liability.

    If FedEx cannot find it, then it is up to Microsoft to replace it, as they are the ones that should have insured it for delivery. They can claim for the loss from FedEx, but they must provide a replacement to you. You have no liability in this situation,
    none at all.

    As for the post above me... no, the OP is not the customer of FedEx, he is the customer of Microsoft. Microsoft are FedEx's customer, because they are the ones paying for the delivery service.
