Feb and March update what do you think

Here's the breakdown of new Xbox One and Xbox Live features and improvements you can expect in March, quoting Whitten:

• Get to your friends list faster. The friends list will be front and center on the homepage of the Friends app. Click the Social tile on Home, or say "Xbox, go to Friends" to see who's online and what they're up to. From there you can quickly
  send messages and get into a party.
• Party chat will be turned on by default. When you party up, chat audio will be turned on by default.
  
• Chat with friends playing different games. Party chat will be separated from people playing your game, so you can chat with your friends who are online or you can chat with everyone playing the game.
  
• We're adding an "Invite friends to game" option to your multiplayer titles moving forward. Similar to Xbox 360 titles, this will appear inside a games' menu and offer a simple and quicker way to set up your multiplayer battles. Selecting "Invite
  friends" will let you invite friends to your game and party.
• We're adding "Recent Players." This is a simple list that shows you Xbox Live members you've recently played with, making it easier to stay in touch with people, or add new friends after your multiplayer battles

march 4th patch time?

No, no update, yet!

Think back, Feb. 11 update did not come out until Feb 14.

MS said March 4, before the release of Titanfall. Also MS Store, has accessories (Headset adapter, Media remote) that need the update, to work right, dated for March 7. So March 4 -7, is my guess.

 

XB1 won't turn on soundbar after Feb update

I think it must be an MS problem as it worked before the Feb update. Can only assume MS will repair it in the March update next month.

 

where is the update fist in February 11?

 

It was postponed to later this week.

Major Nelson said in twitter that it would still come this week, but no date yet.

 

My guess, the update comes out tomorrow together with the TitanFall beta.

 

Love it. But they should of been from the start.

 

I've been eagerly awaiting this update all week - I hope it's not too big in size. I'd hate to wait longer than I already have to.

 

i think they are complete rubbish at the mo,because no one has got any its all just words,felt very let down not getting the 1st part on the 11th,its like come on MS.Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

 

I had a feeling there would be problems with the Feb 11th update and I do not think it was a coincidence that the new forums were brought in around the same time. The update was never going to be coming out on the 11th.

 

Wish people would stop complaining at least we are getting updates heck they r even updating the controller

 

^ It's more about being told one thing and something else happening, Such as don't give us a date that can't be held.

 

Or when you do at least communicate the failure to deliver through something other than a tweet from Major Nelson. The silence is deafening.
