    Features are locked due to parental restricitons


    I am new to xbox live on windows. I purchased Forza Horizon 3 few weeks ago and I am unable to access certain important features due to age restrictions. I am 17 and the content unlocks when I turn 18. I asked my dad to create an account and made him add
    me as a child account and remove any restrictions via xbox live webpage. It did not work. Moreover, I made him add me into the family group as an adult. It still did not work. I do not know what to do now in order to unlock those important features.

    set up my account 2 years ago as an adult account with no parental controls, started playing forza horizon 3 on windows 10 today and some features are locked off due to parental controls? any idea how to fix this as microsoft support is useless

    I downloaded it but when I try to play it says "Xbox One features are disabled due to a parental control restriction on your Microsoft account." but I'm 17 so I have everything set to adult privileges. What do I do?

    What happens if I leave the family

    you will get locked out of a lot of features due to the account being a child account, and you can't leave, only the parent can release the child account. there still hass to be a parent attached to the account too.

    When i tried to add an account to Xbox one, the password prompt doesnt show up and goes back to home

    we turned off the parental features due to it interfering wih youtbe and games

    My account is put in a family as a child with no adult.

    I have the exact same problem and my 360 account is locked due to a nonexistent parent account being invalid.
