Feature Request: Modification of Achievement System

Hello,

I hope thats the right place for something like this.

I was wondering about, if there will be an equivalent to the platinum trophy on xbox.

Something like a "Completed Game" achivement. It would be great to have something like this.

There are two ways:

1. Just add This Achievement after reaching 1000 Points in a game.

2. Make vanilla achievements seperated from dlc achievements like playstation, and grant "Game completed" after winning all vanilla achievments.

That would be so great and much more motivation to complete a game.

Quite a few people asking for a overhaul of the achievement system as it's not the same as it was a few years ago with all the games out now that can give you 1000/2000gs in 15 minutes.

Gamerscore has always just been there for a bit of fun but it's so easy to get a high gamerscore now the fun has kind off been sucked out of it.

I used to love getting gamerscore but now i just go for completions on harder games.

Hey Beast, I'm afraid that achievements cannot be removed once they have been earned, unless they have been earned through system modification or tampering. In that case, all of your achievements and Gamerscore will be reset.

Daft Badger is correct, as usual. Without the use of unauthorized software, modifications or hacks there is no option, feature, nor ability to alter your gamerscore. You seem to be well aware of this already but obviously illegitmately unlocking achievements
is strictly against the Code of Conduct.

I imagine the next gen version will probably just feature the odd bonus items or feature whatever the next system features in terms of the achievement/gamerscore system.

As for now, the achievement unlocking system has changed a bit. Everything is performed server-side. So if you "unlock" achievements whereas you are offline, they will be unlocked the next time you connect to Internet.
