Feature request: Add Egypt as an official Xbox region (EGP Store + Game Pass + local payments)

This isn't true. Microsoft recently rolled out Gamepass for Egypt that officially supports Egyptian store in MS Store, Egypt as a region on the PC and Xbox game store, and supports Egyptian currency on Egyptian cards

So yes, recently MS released Gamepass in Egypt using Egyptian currency through the Xbox Insider program. I received a message for gamepass availability.

If you look in the links I posted you will see that many in Egypt have subscribed to the recently released Gamepass.

Okay, this helped me clear things up a bit. I live in Egypt, I contacted MS support and I was told to set my region to an Xbox Live-supported country if I want an Xbox Live subscription, so I did so, I set it to the US, and I only couldn't download Sleeping
Dogs when it was free with Xbox Gold, because my console's region is different from my LIVE region. I had to change my region to Canada because I can only use my MSA funds if the region matches the currency, right? So in this case, it's Canadian dollars. Why
aren't my MSA funds chosen as the method of payment then? I can't figure it out. Should I just let it go and start using a relative's credit card to purchase things? And if so, how will I? I live in Egypt, is EGP a supported currency?

You can add a payment method fro. Outside the us and europe however you CAN only add one from a xbox live supported region

Kenya isnt a xbox live supported region

Sinapore australia india japan china korea south africa egypt saudi arabia uae etc are all xbox supported regions

https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/live/countries is all xbox live supported regions

For any online service you must live in a supported region

This is controlled by your chamber of commerce and local laws

Egypt is not a supported Xbox region
