Feature request: 2 consoles one download

I'm not sure how or if this is possible. It's just an idea I had.

I've got 2 Xbox one consoles and between the updates every couple of weeks and all of my digital downloads, my bandwidth cap is getting destroyed.

So I was wondering if it's possible to download to one of the consoles and then have the second console get the updates and downloads from the first console over the same network. Thus cutting the amount of download traffic in half.

Can you schedule a download?

You cannot schedule a download, but you can request a download on the website, and it will download the next time you turn your console on. If you turn your console on during those hours, then it will download then. You can even turn the console back off,
and it will continue to download if you have enabled that feature.

 

Xbox One Feature request!

Would like to purchase a Xbox One that would have a changer in which I could load 3-5 games from disc and switch them from my controller.

Is it possible?

 

I believe you can actually update the consoles from a USB. So all you would need to do is look that up and download it once to the USB and put it on both consoles.

 

That's not a bad idea. It's kind of a hassle though.

I wonder if digital downloads can be done that way too.

My recent master chief collection download was huge.

 

If you download it on one Xbox you can have an external harddrive and tranfer it to the other!

 

Hey Scr3wdriver! Sounds like it would be possible, but a bit of work no matter how you look at it. I think this would be a great use of the feedback site, that site is regularly monitored for suggestions and they've actually already implemented a few things
from there.
