    Hey there.

    So when I heard the news that more games had been added to backwards compatibility program, including the FEAR series games, I was excited. I own the second game digitally, but I don't own the 1st or 3rd. (I lost my disc for the 3rd game some time ago)

    I searched for the 1st and 3rd game on the microsoft store via my series x console, both game are there, but it seems the first game is unavailable to be purchased. So I went and hooked up my old 360 to see if I could maybe buy it with that console instead.

    Neither was available, just the 2nd game. And I noticed that FEAR 2 didn't have the writing below the game cover to indicate that it was backwards compatible. (games that are backwards compatible, when viewed on the xbox 360, are usually marked with the writing + xbox one) I was able to download FEAR 2 without trouble though. Any idea what's going on here?

    Also, can I buy xbox 360 games on my series x? I've had trouble doing so in the past (back then I had an xbox one though) so I had to hook up my xbox 360 to buy them. I pay for things/add funds with microsoft/xbox gift cards, I don't use credit cards. I heard that might be the reason why, but I'm not sure if that's true.

    Any answers would be appreciated, thank you.

    The FEAR series

    Fear was a cracking series of games, it would be worth contacting their publisher to push for the release of a backwards compatible version of the series

    Microsoft please make concrete jungle backwards compatible to the Xbox one

    they have currently stopped all backwards compatability to focus on the xbox series x as i believe they are making all xbox one 360 and original games compatible on series x

    As much as I love the Tenchu series... its a little but late for them to be putting games on the list of backwards compatible titles. They snubbed the Xbox One's backwards compatibility program as of E3 2019 in order to prep for the launch of the now announced
    Xbox Series X console this year. Have no fear because you may be able to play it again soon. The Series X is supposedly going to have compatibility for a majority of (or a large list similar to the Xbox One and Xbox 360) or all of the games that has ever graced
    an Xbox console for all 4 generations of console.

    Ninja Gaiden is backwards compatible though lol. While I like Tenchu a little better, its better than nothing.

    The $29 one you saw is the Xbox One version of the game which is backwards compatible with the Series S/X. The 360 version is not backwards compatible.
