Fear of Xbox BAN (Dead island)

I was just enjoying my game solo on sunday night and this guy joins and starts killing every zombie we see....I was just in my own game doing nothing so decided to quit and continue my solo play and he just approached, dropped a gun. Well I saw that as an
opportunity and picked it up since I was previously using my baseball bats and other sticks to fight zombies. Well the gun had a lot of ammo that you never reload. So I used it and later went to bed. Then at night it hit me, is this from the game or outside
made? and if from outside made since I used it, am I going to get banned from Xbox? This is really bothering me now and would like to hear from you guys and the Xbox enforcement team....am I going to get banned? If not can I use it since I still have it and
the game is getting difficult for me?

Currently not using it because I'm working on the game's missable achievements and those are with specific weapons and tools and don't require the use of guns.

PS: Now every lobby I join to play multiplayer co-op has all the people using this gun....is it normal?

Please help, can't afford to loose my Xbox account (a busy man here and have invested a lot of time even during lab hours) in my games.

Sometimes I regret being on Gold since online multiplayer has all these bad stuff happening there....I just want to stay clean on Xbox.

That's does not sound like it is naturally in the game and yes you can get banned for using it if you are reported. Don't use it and report the user who gave it to you for cheating/system tampering.

Dead Island also allows you to play off-line or invite only. If you do not wish to join up with other players I suggest you set your game to that in the options menu.

If the game devs see that they gonna reset his level.

I´ve seen people complain cause their level 50 was reset.

You better avoid those people that duplicate weapons

That is most likely how he got that much ammo.

 

You would have to be really unlucky to get in a game with Devs in Dead Island 1. If they're not to busy patching Dead Island Riptide, they're working on Dying Light (Looks Amazing )
