    FB Gaming deal in place of Mixer


    It’s been since June that they dropped Mixer and said they were partnering with FB Gaming. Mixer was so easy to stream to for a small time streamer. Just go to broadcast in the Xbox menu and away you go. Now I have to go into the Twitch app to start and then back to my game. Can’t include audio as easy, etc, etc. As a new/small time streamer that streams from his comfortable chair in his living room 12 feet away from his 86” and his Xbox, I don’t want to have to go through all the capture card BS. Mixer was my savior. I hate Twitch and was looking forward to this deal with FB in hopes that it would just replace Mixer. But no! At least not yet. Has anyone heard anything about this deal? Was it only to help with cloud gaming? I miss my Mixer

    facebook took over mixer, nothing was said if they were coming to the platform and hope they don't puch facebook rubbish down everyones throut like they did last time.

    mixer where is mixer microsoft? Like cant yall make a new update to like get it back because i already restarted the console and power cycled it

    FB gaming still has almost 8 times as many viewers as Mixer, so how is a move from Mixer to FB "alienating a huge number of people?" (The whole problem was that there were never a huge number of people on Mixer to begin with.)

    Furthermore, Xbox is not "partnering" with FB to replace Mixer. They're only helping Mixer streamers move to FB Gaming, if they want. That's about it. Everything else is advertising and tech deals in the background. There will be no FB integration on
    the console.

    I thought the same, but when Mixer shutdown and ''partnered'' with Facebook gaming we never got FB as a streaming opinion.

    I just find it odd that twitch is the only option...

    Social media integration-In addition to Twitter the devs can consider FB or Instagram.

    Since Mixer is the official one we cannot expect YTB live streaming.But it would be nice :)
