Favourite Jaw Drop Moments in Games

Jaw Drops in regards to story:

1) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: Revan gets his memory back

2) Bioshock: Andrew Ryan, "Would you kindly"

What is it with this dog?!

I saw 3 dogs maul a enemy to death last night, it was a show stopper , rubber neck jaw drop moment..........

 

What game? and did it deliver? Sleeper hit?

I completely forgot about Spec Ops The Line as a sleeper, brilliant game with, superb production values good shooter and the one of the best single player campaigns of last year. In one moment in that game which involved a mortar attack was my favourite
gaming moment which literally left me with my jaw wide open. Outstanding!!

 

^ Novigrad +1 and "Would you kindly" was a blinder!!! Brilliant, and Yesss! to Revan. I was thinking this topic could throw up some good memories and there's a few good ones right there!

 

The Revan moment definitely.

Stepping out of the sewers for the first time in Oblivion always sticks with me.

I forgot to mention that feeling I had the first time I saw Gears of War in action.

 

@Ibakez played Gears for years as a team from Gears 1 and one mate always was Dom, he loved his character and that moment was marred a bit by the rest of us crying with laughter as he was reduced to tears. We still hum the Mad World theme to him sometimes!
LOL!! Personally I always played as Minh and I got mine early...

Realising I could go ANYWHERE in "Morrowind: Game Of The Year Edition".

The 4th and Final Ending for "Eternal Darkness".

The "Twist" in "Knights Of The Old Republic".

"Bayonetta". All of it.

"Ryse: Son Of Rome", storming the beaches of Britain.

Pong....My first time.

Tomb Raider, my first 3D game that was amazing,just running around and turn the camera was incredible.

Everquest,play with gamers from around the world,unbelievable.

 

Finishing Halo (Xbox)..... running the last level with the warthog where the floor falls out from beneath you.

Also got to give a mention to the score and the d day landing level of medal of honour

 

Oooh , I like this thread....

1. Can't remember which CoD it was but the moment near the end of the campaign when Ghost gets plugged.....I was proper stunned .

2. That phosphor moment in Spec Ops the line didn't sit well with me for about half hour.

3. That "No Russian" thingy in CoD , again that didn't feel right.

4. My first time playing MP online on Gears1.

blimey , if i think hard and long there has been too many to list in hundreds of games iv'e played .
