Favorite Shooter!!

Not particularly, no.

I hated the Prometheans, the new story, the design of pretty much everything except the Warthog --because that was truly amazing, both visually and with regards to how it handled-- the new weapons, the diminished mobility and jump height, the hitscan BR
and DMR, the Armour Abilities, the ranking system, the loadout system, the ordnance system, the health system...

... it really does just go on.

H3 was my favourite and will always be my favourite, simply because it's the best.

I take it you are pretty sceptical about Halo 5 then? Or 343 for that matter? I really loved it, so much so that unlike any other Halo I have played (all but HW and SA) I couldn't put the pad down. The game for me was just lush and I loved every moment on
it. Though I get why you would feel that way, after all, its not like you are the only one to feel that way. I see many folks unhappy with it but I just hope 343 don't change it too much that it is unrecognizable next to 4.

 

I agree with Bob on Halo 4. First of all... WHY remove dual wielding when bringing back MC? They replaced the classic plasma rifle with a never-useful storm rifle. The big thing I loved about plasma rifles was dual wielding them --- they removed that
completely. Loadouts, sprinting, etc. gave the game a bit of a CoD feel of "die, mash X to respawn, sprint back to firefight." The promethians were boring as all get-out and their weapons were not interesting to me at all. They just felt like repurposed
weapons already existing with orange lasers. The binary rifle was probably the only interesting one.

Maps weren't that great, wasn't a big fan of the Mantis, and the campaign was mediocre; too many levels felt tedious and monotonous. It felt like a great game when I first played it but after that I started to notice that it just didn't feel like the same
Halo for a myriad of reasons.

No FPS on the 360, including Halo 3 & 4, Battlefield, and CoD series even comes close

So many different things you can do with that game, including glitches, and the ability to steal 5 banshees from the Covy B4 they can react. Then flying to the top of Structures and Sniping them off one by one. And if you watch how you do it, you can take
3 each - Sniper Rifles, Pistols, and Bazookas to the next load points for use in areas where there are none.

Except for no Sp Ops offline. Halo 4 MP was alright... Until 343 started nerfing everything.

My biggest regret was that I paid over $60.00 for it and then had to turn around and pay another $60.00 for XBL just to be able to play Sp Ops. Which is a 4 player ONLY firefight against the covy, and you have to be online to play it?$?$$

What was MS/343 thinking? Oh, yes. To get more people to join XBL?

Well, it worked in my case, but then again. It made me weary of any future halo games. Thus fool me once. Shame on me. Try it a second time and you'll lose part of Halo's customer base.

Chump change I know, but lose 1% in one respect and you could potentially lose that same 1% in other areas. Then when the final tallying is done, your base support has let YOU hanging by a thread.

 

I would like to be in a large scale halo battle. Like the Halo reach warthog charge.

Also the Halo 4 marines didn't look as good as in halo 3.

 

The Marines had bad ai also.

 

Titanfall just bumped Halo:Reach from my favorite online shooter slot.
