Favorite Console Design

I am creating another favorite thread, I enjoy reading what you all have to say about games, characters, and the interactivity in the community is nice, and keeps things on a positive note. So I will ask, what is your favorite console design? This
can be any home console, from the Atari to the 8th Generation systems.



Mine, has to be between the Sega Dreamcast, and the Xbox 360 E. I can not decide.

The U.S. Recon character in Bad Company 2. You can never go wrong with a ghillie suit.

Sega Genesis.

With that console you could add on extra hardware such as Mega CD Drive, and 32X. And along with certain cartridges create a "Tower of Power" console that took up more vertical space in the 'man cave' than a 32 inch TV.

The Nintendo Gamecube hands down, as far as design is concerned - that thing oozed style (and even had a carrying handle)! The Sega Dreamcast comes in at a very close second.

 

Hey thanks Greek, the GameCube was pretty cool looking. And the mini discs I though were cool too. The GameCube did put out very colorful games. And I hear you about the Dreamcast. I loved everything about that console, the Look, the Logo, and the controller
and cool memory card that was practically a hand held.

 

Probably the Megadrive, that thing just looked awesome when it came out, and then with the extra addition of the Mega CD, that just made it even more awesome. It's crazy to think how it all went so wrong for Sega in the end.

 

Mine would be the X1. It's always been my opinion that electronics should be square. The PS2 and the 360S would tie for second.

Goatsnatcher I agree. The Sega Dreamcast was ahead of it's time. It is kind of funny that Xbox actually got a lot of its concepts and studios from Sega. Fable 1 was supposed to be for the Dreamcast! Shenmue was originally on Dreamcast, then Shenmue 2
was for Xbox.

 

Mine is a tie between the Playstation 3 original, and the Xbox One. They're both big and beautiful.

 

D33dles, I love the Xbox One's design. It would be 2nd behind my 1A. Xbox 360 E 1B. Sega Dreamcast. Or 1A. Sega Dreamcast and 1B. Xbox 360 E. I cant decide!

 

OG Xbox, the first Xbox had the best looks to it. I wish they would of did it for the XBOX ONE. 2nd would be PS3 OG never own one but thought the looks was cool. 3rd would be GameCube. And the rest are on the same level.

 

I like the look of the OG Xbox. I really love the "Matrix" green color of Xbox, they have darkened it a bit in the 8th generation but I still like it. Gamecube was cool, I didn't dig the original color (I forgot to say that above). And phew, the fatty
that was the PS3, fat but sleek and smooth. Wasn't to bad.

 

The Xbox 360 Slim and Xbox 1. Even tho the Xbox 1 is bigger, it has a nice design the gloss finish the lines, and listening to the tune when you touch the touch-sensitive power button. I use to have the PS2 but only had it for 3 weeks.
