    Faulty XBox1 Console


    bot a console on hols in US July 2014. Then, aftr waiting 4 all my buds 2 catch up with me & get a xbox1 at Xmas so we cood all game 2gether, my console won't power up! It lights up for a sec n dies. There is no problem with the power bric it gives
    power out an lites up. I contacted Xbox Support who agreed to exchange faulty unit. They checked my serial no & wher it was purchased & then said I needed 2 pay £96 2 ship it to US 4 xchang! Ridiculous, when Microsoft is a Multinational Corperation
    with a HQ in Reading uk. WHY CAN'T I GET EXCHANGE IN THE UK? If my Nissan car had a fault I wouldn't take it to Japan 2 get repaired!

    Hey, also are you talking Xbox360 or Xbox1.? If your talking Xbox1 I think you may have a faulty disk drive and you will want to call for support asap.....good luck.....

    faulty defective oem xbox1 equipment

    2 remotes with drifting left sticks 2 headsets with players unable to hear me speak. Multiple blogs forum post and web pages stating the same issues. I do not abuse my equipment as I'm sure the 1000s of other experiencing these issues do not either.

    Why won't they acknowledge their defective equipment and take care of there customers? Please post any similar issues you are having maybe they hear us all. If you have an external website that is already logging consumer complaints please point me

    In my opinion you are making a better move by swapping over to an XBox1. as long as its not faulty' but if its a fair swap between you' you will be the winner imo.

    There is a tile you can press on the support website that is specific for this issue

    The issue is caused by a software update

    Thousands are having the same issue

    Gotta love how you guys lock a thread that may be embarrassing to Microsoft and their faulty console

    Although I'd probably do the same if I ballsed it up as completely as the update department has

    Did you try to cold boot the system, at this point its worth a shot: With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5-8 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You
    should see the green splash screen upon reboot. It may take a minute to boot all the way to the home screen. If you did not see the green Xbox splash screen, please redo it.
