Faulty xbox one

I think my xbox one might but faulty but not 100%. When I am playing online multiplayer I finish a match and it exits out to the home screen. It does this near enough everytime. I am still signed into xbox live when this happens. It also sometimes disconnects
from the Internet. I was connecting using wireless but I bought a ethernet cable so I had a wired connection but still the same problems. The annoying part is that I have an open nat type so I think my Internet connection is strong enough. I don't know if
the two things are connected but this is so frustrating not being to play online. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's starting to sound like disc drive failures may be the new RROD. I know things happen, but there seem to be a lot of them dying very early on.

have you tried a power cycle to see if that solves any weirdness?

Please press and hold the power button on the console for at least 10 seconds until you hear the console powering down. Wait until the power supply light turns and remains orange and if the light has been orange for at least 30 seconds power the console
on again.
