Faulty Xbox One Controller.... please help

Not sure why the reasoning is to immediately jump to playstation, both companies have quirks for customer service. If you have an issue with your controller, you need contact support - typically over the phone.

Step 2 ----Select
See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

Thanks for the reply! You should be able to contact Support for your region using the link, however, I'm posting it for you again below in a link that will open it up correctly for the UK/GB. As a side note, the message you received when attempting to register
the controller is correct. Since the controller is an accessory, a console would need to be registered for the accessory to be associated and listed for replacement or repair. If you don't have a console, then it would definitely be best to contact Support
for assistance.

When you go to Contact Usto request a callback, follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----Select Xbox One
  
• Step 2 ----Select See other options
  
• Step 3 ----Select topic (I recommend "set up my xbox one console". This will give you the call option.)
  
• Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"
  
• Step 5 ----Select request a call from support
  

Once they call, explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

All controllers come with a limited 90 day warranty. You may be able to send it in for repair if it meets certain the requirements. You can try to fill out the form here

Tried filling out return form and keep getting the message...

"We’re sorry. The accessory or device you are requesting is not available. Please contact Microsoft Support for assistance."

Tried contacting Xbox support on Twitter and getting no reply yet again. Customer service appears to be shambolic.

Next time they want a new Xbox we will be moving to Playstation.
