    Faulty Xbox Elite Controller


    Hi,

    My name is Adrian Stretton, I have been a loyal microsoft customer for way over ten years. Yesterday I went through the process of getting my faulty Xbox Elite Controller replaced. I had proof of purchase and serial number for my controller to prove it was
    a legitimate microsoft product.

    After going through the process and initially being told I was entitled to a replacement, the process went back and forth for over an hour I was eventually told I would not be able to get my controller replaced due to the third party seller through amazon not
    being an "authorised" seller.

    This appalled me as the product was bought through amazon and the product is legitimate.

    There is no explanation or list of unauthorised sellers on the microsoft site to let your customers know that products bought from these specific sellers will be void of warranty. With my product being faulty and 100% one of your products I do not see why your
    company can't help me with my issue, even without proof of purchase a licensed controller with serial number that is faulty should be replaced. The product itself shouldn't be faulty after less than a year of use and at a £120 rrp surely you can understand
    as an avid microsoft customer why I would expect you to be able to help me out on this matter.

    I look forward to your reply and hope that this can get resolved.

    Xbox One elite controller problem with play and charge kit

    Hey.

    My new Xbox One elite controller is using play and chrage kit for battery. My problem is that with the elite controller, I only get 8hrs or less play time, when it should be close to 30 hrs.

    I do not have similar problems with my Xbox one S- controller, that is using the same play and charge kit.

    Do I have faulty controller? How to test if it works like it should?

    I feel you man I wish this could be fixed, or even if we could be compensated for this. My first one had drifting right thumpstick and a stuck left one got it replaced and now the second one got a loose thumstick. First one lasted 6 months second one less
    than a month. I have always trusted Microsoft so I hope they do their best to fix this issue.

    I'm so disappointed in the elite controller. for a $150 "accessory" to only get 90 a day warranty is absurd... and whats more absurd is the shear lack of quality internals that Microsoft pass off as "elite". I thought I was buying the sports car version
    of the xbox one controller... turns out it is more like a Ford Pinto.
