    Faulty Series X Controller


    Good afternoon,

    I have registered my new Series X Controller as faulty (LB not working at all) and received an automated email saying my exchange request has been assigned to an advisor and I should hear from them in 24 hours. This was 4 days ago now and I have heard nothing,
    and I'm unable to go on web chat or request a call to discuss this issue.

    Does anybody know any other way I can chase up the progress ? If I go into my device service and repair on my account my Series X shows "no issues"

    Hi,

    He said the refurb was if they couldn't fix it, so I'd be waiting a week or two and then receiving my fixed Series X back or a refurb. Truly thought they'd send a new one upon receipt of our faulty one, or as mentioned in other posts offer the Advanced Exchange :(

    Thank you for your quick reply.

    We tried all this initially, Microsoft support went through this with us too. Their last attempt was the offline update, which also failed.

    I just don't want to be palmed off with a refurb, surely that should come when it's over 12 months old?! :(

    They send refurbished models because it's faster for you instead of waiting on them to fix your console.
