Faulty Purchase

please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Redownload your profile

Regarding the Game purchase please see the transactions section on
http://account.microsoft.com if the purchase shows there, if it shows then please check the Ready to Install section on the console. Make sure you are using the same account that was used to purchase the game.

Also if you have proof of purchase, where was the purchase from as if its faulty then you could look at returning it to where you got it from due to it being faulty?

it is either a faulty cable or faulty usb on the controller, had this before, common issue with all controllers when using a cable. contact pdp for warranty or the store you purchased from.

So it turns out my console was faulty and has to be repaired. The turn around time is 3-4 weeks but I just asked my place of purchase (JB HiFi) if I could swap it for a different console and they said that's fine (I purchased the faulty console in January).

I did not activate the Microsoft warranty as it was out of warranty and I had to purchase the replacement controller that was sent to me. The controller is faulty and I want a refund of the replacement order and return the faulty controller sent to me
