Faulty power box??

Hey guys I need a bit of help. Today I was playing my Xbox one and I turned it of to take it to another room and when I plugged it into the wall.the power box turns on but as soon as I plug it into to Xbox the power light on the box turns off. Any ideas???

Called xbox support today as my power supply is faulty. My xbox is under warranty. Was told i need to send back the faulty power supply before i'd recieve a new one!!!!! In the meantime i will not be refunded for my xbox live membership. What a joke....this
could take 2 weeks because u want the faulty goods back! Not at all happy with this. U should allow customers to pick up things like this from a store in the local area or send one out first and if faulty one not returned within 30 days then a charge applied!

Let's have you try a few things to get you back to gaming.

• Check to make sure all connections are firmly in place, just one loose connection can keep the power supply from receiving full current.
  
• If plugged into a Surge Protector / Power Strip, please plug the power supply directly into the wall socket. Other devices plugged into the power strip can drop the voltage low enough to where the power supply will not function correctly
  
• Try a different electrical outlet.
• If possible try your power supply in a different Xbox Console and vice versa.
  

If none of these steps work, I would suggest that you start a repair order on your consoles power supply. Go to

http://myservice.xbox.com to start a repair order.

Please remember if you haven't already, register your console before starting a repair order.
