Faulty left trigger on Xbox One Elite Series 2 Controller

I was wondering what options I have with a faulty controller. I am a PC gamer exclusively, and I have the Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller. A few days ago the left trigger started to give some resistance when being pressed, technically it still works,
but while gaming it can be a big hindrance. I got it a few months ago from BestBuy with a 2year warranty so it is still covered, I just don't want to immediately resort to getting it replaced from them..

If you bought the warranty from the store, the best bet would be to use it and have the trigger drag be listed as some sort of 'defect.' Xbox does have a device warranty and service page

(linked here) you can visit, however, I believe the standard warranty only covers certain issues as its a 90 to 120 day manufacturer's warranty.

Sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the current Xbox controllers, however, the question forum is the incorrect place to post your feedback. Unless you are asking about current Xbox controller advancements in-which case that would be the Xbox Elite Controller
Series 1 and Xbox Elite Controller Series 2. The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 being the newest on the market and being awarded,
"Best of E3 2019 - Hardware/Peripheral" - Game Critics Awards.

Ive had the baseline controllers for years and keep holding back from pulling the trigger (get it?) for an elite controller. When the series 2 came out, I was ready to go get one, but the fervor died off with reports of disconnecting.

Right now I’m still waiting to get an elite. I plan on it sometime this year, maybe with the Series X

Thanks for the reply. The Elite controller series 2 has various methods of mapping the buttons and paddles as compared to the series 1. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking a look at the following support articles that
