Faulty left analogue stick (drifting up)

This has to be sorted soon as it can't be me and my son causing the same fault, i have spent £300 so far on controllers, "what the hell Microsoft",

6 controllers all with the same left analogue stick drifting up, my xbox ones are now out of warranty and i have just found out that if you buy a controller separate it doesn't have warranty, all the controllers where less than a year old when they went
faulty.

So now i am stuck with the dilemma of buy another 2 controllers, or just give up on xbox sell what i have and go over to playstation.

This is obviously a design flaw and needs to be addressed because it is massively unfair to expect us as consumers to keep forking out £50 every 8 months or so.

I have an xbox 360 controller which has lasted over 5 years so why are these new controllers so cheaply made.

Xbox One control Drifting up

After doing an update on my xbox one wireless controller, which was necessary so that I couldon't use my new headset, the left analogue stick is drifting up which has made it almost impossible to play any games. How can I fix this issue or get a replacement
controller.

 

Faulty left analogue

Being angry here isn't going to help to do anything constructive about it.

 

There's a fix to this but you have to solder a new analog module on the controller. It isn't that hard and you save money.

 

Same here had Xbox in April tried my friends controller does the same thing and also disconnects rom console

 

I have the same problem with my left analog stick drifting left. Its not even a year old and the money I spend on xbox products is just crazy. There has to be something faulty with them

 

It will prob's be down to one thing CHEAP parts, if I went through 6 controllers that should be more than enough Proof the internal workings are of an inferior quality and failing before they really should.

Not good for wallet, Brand reputation or business.

I guess I will find out and as for having to repair your own controller How About Microsoft just Use Better Quality Potentiometer's in the Pad, then this issue would not happen.

 

BTW the Drift problem happened to my PS4 pad after about 6 months, so it's not just limited to One company Using Inferior Quality Part's

 

Mine has been doing this for a while. I bought a new controller, and out of the box it did the same thing. Is it possible that its a software problem or has this been certified a joystick problem?
