Discus and support FAulty headset or controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Guys and Girls please help,... so far this year and I dread to think about last year I have purchased my son at least three controllers and five or six...     Guys and Girls please help,... so far this year and I dread to think about last year I have purchased my son at least three controllers and five or six headset and still he cannot chat to his mates. They are all Xbox equipment, but the quality of the "3.5mm
    jack" is obviously shocking, unless I am missing something. The headset all work individually, in the TV etc,... and the controllers still work yet together nothing!!! (Mod Removed) What is going on! Unless this is another money making scheme
    by Microsoft! I have bluetooth headset, but these are not compatible either. Any guidance XBOX community!

    It could be that the headset is faulty now or that the jack in the controller itself is the issue. How old is the headset and controller ? What brand is the headset ?

    If you are using the headset adapter for the controller it may be faulty.

    If the headsets work fine on another controller, then it probably is a faulty headset port. I'd contact official support again and push for a replacement controller.

    If your pressing up and you're not hearing a beep sound, then it sounds like it could be that the headset is faulty, but seen as you've mentioned that you've tried multiple headsets, then I can only assume its the controllers mic port that is faulty. try
    a friends controller to confirm its the controller.
