    Faulty Gold Renewal Message


    For the last week my Xbox dashboard has been invaded by messages that I need to renew my Gold subscription, but I have Gold until 2/5/2019. I have autorenew off so it shouldn't mess with that but I don't want it to mess up my account in some other way. also
    it is slightly annoying because it makes a promotion pop up whenever I go o check the games and deals with Gold.

    any help is greatly appreciated,

    Hello KD,

    Sorry for the issue with the pop up to renew Xbox live. This can be bothersome at times. If you have verified the subscription is good until February you can ignore these. Also do you have any other subscriptions, like game pass, or EA access? It could be
    for those also. If not you can try to
    remove and read your profile     see if that helps.

    Hi MichaelXtep,

    On Xbox one, your Xbox Live Gold must be active in order to play any "Games with Gold" titles.

    On Xbox 360, you play any "Games with Gold" titles without having Xbox Live Gold.

    I recommend you restarting your Xbox by holding down the power button on your Xbox. Once it restart, see what happens when you try to renew your Gold. Also, if you have the Xbox App on your phone you can renew from there too.

    Also, check your Xbox messages and see if you have any messages from Xbox Live. Once you go to your message tab you will see chats, message requests, and messages from Xbox live. They will send you messages when your Xbox Live gold couldnt be renewed.

    YOUR GAMER PROFILE DOES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS THIS GAME

    i was playing it fine for a year and as soon as i've renewed. this message comes up. Any help appreciated.
