Faulty Controller, agreed to fix but now blocked from support :(

I am absolutely disgusted at the way i have been treated, i have faulty under warranty hardware, i supplied all the relevant information and minutes later my case was closed, now i have been banned from Xbox support, i have tried to log in on multiple devices.

I have cleared my browsing history and installed a new browser still blocked. I'm sure since I'm a subscriber to Xbox this feature is one I'm paying for.

When the Microsoft employee i was dealing with realized my information was correct and had to re-issue or fix my hardware he decided to block me.

This has been an on going issue since January. I have all the evidence i need to take this further and i promise i will. My case has been closed multiple times, i have proof from more than one employee that my hardware was going to be fixed if i supply the
    relevant information.

This will probably again fall on deaf ears but i wont be silenced, i have been treated like scum, not the valued 10+year loyal customer that i am.

    GT

    :)

  2. Xbox One Day One Controller-broken left bumper

I contacted the store I bought the controller from and told them their 30 Day Guarantee exclusion didn't count against faulty items, they have agreed and will swap the controller out for a new one.

In the meantime I was on Support Chat with someone who can only be described as an imbecile of some far away nationality with little grasp of the English language. How on earth 'a faulty controller' was converted into 'can't sign in' is unsure, but that
is what he was going on and on about, after 20 minutes of getting no where I gave up

  3. Design lab sent me a faulty controller and now I'm stuck with it

I purchased a custom made controller and when I received it, I noticed that the top of the front faceplate was slightly coming off. I brought it to the Microsoft store where the employee completely agreed with me that this product was faulty and informed
me that I would need to contact Microsoft directly. When I contacted Microsoft, they told me they could fix it but they were only allowed to send me back a black or white controller, which completely defeats the purpose of my custom made controller. All I
wanted was to either send in my controller to have to fixed, or have them send me a new controller with the same design, but customer support was anything but helpful. I understand the reasoning of a no refund, but that was under the assumption of receiving
a working product. They kept insisting that the only thing they could do for me was to have me send in my controller, only to get sent back a regular black or white one. I asked why this was and they were unable to give me a straight answer. I thought I was
being reasonable; all I wanted was to have my custom controller fixed but now it seems I'm stuck with a faulty controller.

Xbox Controller Future (elite and others)

I Totally agree. You would expect to buy a controller and have support especially if you have looked after it and its a faulty part that dies.

PowerA enhanced wired controller not turning on at all???

The controller might be faulty. You either send it back to where you got it from and get a replacement or money back, or talk to PowerA about it, as they might be able to help fix the issue for you. https://www.powera.com/support/

Problem with wireless controler (joysticks not working)

This may just be a faulty controller, have you tried replacing the battery pack and/or tried using a play and charge kit. From viewing the video, you have faulty joysticks and the only way to fix these is with a replacement. If you have recently bought this
controller, please return it to the place of purchase and ask for a replacement.

Sorry this has happened, this happened to one of my controllers after much use and their was no fix it for it.

    Power A Xbox to PC

    Hi,

My guess is it's faulty then. Joy.cpl should show a controller if it's connected to the PC, regardless of whether it is a direct input or xinput controller.

I take it your USB ports are working okay?

Other than a faulty port or faulty controller, a damaged Windows install can occasionally break controller support.

My advice is to buy an official controller. If this works then this Power A controller must be faulty.
