Faulty Console Repair / Replacement.

So, I contact xbox support. My console won't connect with any controllers. Been through all the ways of connecting, plus factory default restore, offline diag thing and tried other people's controllers etc (my controllers work on other consoles).

My xbox is out of warranty, I don't doubt that, but I did first raise the issue in March last year at a time it WAS under warranty. We ended up tolerating it as, I thought at the time, something else of my doing was interfering with the sync setup. Turns
out that's not the case.

Here's some excerpts from my chat (name removed for privacy)... (some sentences removed as was hour+ chat)

xx: Once you send to us your broken console, the estimated timeframe is 10-14 business days. But nothing to worry about that, this is just an estimated timeframe, based on my experience, you can receive your new console much faster than the usual

you: either a repair or replacement would be fantastic, i still have the issue that this week is particularly bad timing if there's no time limit on your offer

So, I've managed to borrow an xbox and unplugged mine ready to accept this 'offer'. Forget the fact no cost was mentioned or implied, I was never expecting a free-ride. But there is no offer. Just a standard
£110 please for a repair!

I'd like there to be some accountability for what I'm told online

FAULTY Brand New Elite Controler

Sounds like the elite controller is faulty. Maybe it is time for a repair/replacement. Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support

 

so UPS took my cinsole to Germany... how do I track the repair?

My repair arrived in the Czech Republic from UK on Thursday but it still says 'received at service centre' to be honest I hope I have a repair rather than a totally new one, people on other threads here are saying their new console replacement is faulty
too!!

 

Customer services are truly useless from every experience i have had with them as they are not experienced or privy to all information needed with common issues and stick to a rigid dialogue set up it seems!!!. I had a dodgy kinect which it turns out
wasnt dodgy but it was my xbox,i was talked into just sending the sensor off not the xbox also and when returned the issue was still there an my warranty run out at that time so wasnt able to get free repair. Not helpful at all.
