Faulty Bluetooth card

Just after some advice please. For several months I have had problems with my controller always cutting out, and always trying to restart its self, like its lost the connection signal. Well after reading all the support pages on the subject, and talking
with support staff it was thought to be my controller. Well I have brought 2 brand new controllers since, and both are cutting out still. Would I be right to assume it could be a faulty Bluetooth card within the console? My Xbox is just over a year old from
date of purchase, would MS still warrant an issue like this to get repaired by them? Any advice you guys can give me would be much appreciated.

I know Dark, Anyhow, The point i am trying to make is wait and see. Maybe the ps4 will have bluetooth reciver issues, maybe xbox1's kinect will have faulty wiring causing a short

maybe the moon will crash into the earth.

 

my computer shuts down during game

if your comp is shutting down it can be a few things (not the game)

your cpu or video card is over heating.

your power supply is faulty

your video card is faulty

bad ram stick.

 

The Xbox One doesn't use Bluetooth so it definitely isn't that

Xbox One uses 2.4GHz wireless connections, Sony uses Bluetooth for the Dual Shock controllers.

But I digress, have you updated your controllers using the app
support.xbox.com/.../update-controller-for-stereo-headset-adapter, if not you should go ahead and do that and see how things look then.

You could also try a system reset of your console which does mean you'd need to download everything again after but might resolve your issue if updating the controllers doesn't work.

If that doesn't help, contact Xbox Support and see what they say about whether it is under warranty.

 

Thanks for the reply, my mistake with the Bluetooth.

I have done the updates on all 3 controllers and that has made no difference. Changed the batteries etc to see if that helps, done it earlier today and after about 4 mins in it starts cutting out.

I am very reluctant to start opening up my Xox one, so I might go for a factory reset and see if that works, thanks for the suggestion.

 

Definitely do not open the console. What Bazajaytee was suggestions was to to a factory reset on your console. After a year it is probably not under warranty and a repair would cost but definitely less than a new console. Good Luck!
