    fatal error opening Microsoft Flight Sim 2024 (Directx12)


    I have just installed MSFS2024 on Steam and I am having some problems with DirectX. About 30s after launching the game, two pop-ups appear. First one says "Impossible to create DirectX12 device. Error 0x887a0004(DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED)". The second one says something about hardware and compabilities with the App and (D3D12Renderer_Z).

    My computer specs is

    AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

    32gb Ram

    AMD RX 580 8gb

    As far i saw on the requirements, my specs meet the minimum requirements, i do not understand whats going on.

    Can anyone help me?

    I had the same issue... I had to completely exit Flight Sim, disconnect my X52 Pro, restart flight sim, and then open Flight Sim, go to Controls, and plug in my X52. If you try to remove the X52 while Flight Sim is still running, the workaround doesn't

    MICROSOFT FLIGHT is a flight sim. And you fly planes in that game.

    yes it is only flight sim and our computers are on different networks and NAT is open

    if you like flight sims and want more than just Microsoft flight sim and other rally/racing titles pc would be the best option. more choice, more control.
