    Faster loading games?


    I'm trying to find out if you copy a game onto multiple storage devices will the Xbox read from both devices simultaneously, or as necessary, resulting in faster loading? Or does the xbox choose one copy location and strictly load from that drive?

    Maybe somebody should suggest to Xbox, that is of course this hasn't been looked at, to somehow optimize the Xbox to load faster when a game has multiple copies on different drives. I.E.- GTA is on your external HDD, and also another copy of the full game
    on your internal HDD.

    I would guess it may be able to do this on external HDD, I did notice that ext HDD was faster than the internal one. Mind you can you split a game over multiple HDD, when you move a game, you can only specify which device it is moved onto.

    External Hard Drive Speeds

    Ideally you will want to go with the faster HDD's. 7200 RPM. They load up faster and with game content being quite large these days. The faster your HDD can load them the better.
