Fast boot 4k issues

Discus and support Fast boot 4k issues in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I asked Xbox support about this but getting nowhere fast.     Fast boot 4k issues


    I asked Xbox support about this but getting nowhere fast. Ok i have a new Series X and also an XB1X that has same issue. When booting from power off its all fine in the tv and display section, i have 2 4k tvs and they are both seen as 4k with 4K uhd, 1080p
    and 720p pretty normal right all other advanced settings are auto. If i change the boot option to fast boot and restart consoles again the tvs are seen as 4K UHD, if i put consoles to standby and restart from fast boot and go to tv and display section both
    consoles dont recognise my 4K tvs and insist on 1080p or 720p. Happens every time i have to restart comsole for them to be recognised. Hdmi cables are oem items that came with the consoles, plugged into 4k hdmi ports on tv. Whats going on? Think Xbox supoort

    Same issue and having to cold boot to cure it isn't a permanent solution. The console is designed to fast boot so problem should not be happening.

    If you are using the 'Fast Boot' functionality on your Xbox One, I'd suggest changing this to 'Economy mode' from within the settings on the console.

    I've seen a number of posts and experienced issues myself with this Fast boot mode, IMO it still needs some refining. Ever since changing to Economy mode, it takes a little longer to boot up but most of the issues with syncing and game performance is gone.

    i believe this is a known issue that 4k recording are corrupted/stop recording after several minutes the xbox team is aware of this issue and are trying to solve it as fast as possible

    As every other time someone has bugs in here, I recommend hardbooting your Xbox... it's basically a windows machine, and needs rebooting sometimes and the "fast boot" version isn't enough, and I don't think there anyone actually using anything else
    than the fast boot function since the normal boot is SLOW
